- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Great place to straiten out the wanna be thugs that think they're big bad and untouchable... VERY hands on facility... Don't get me wrong, there were a couple D.I.s there that were there to help the guys become productive and better people than when they went in, but the majority just bullies that have that job to get away with what they did...I was medically DQd after being there a month and was transfered to Hale Creek for my 6 month program Home since August and happy I made it through w/o major issues... I wasn't the typical inmate... I'm a constitutional conservative patriot, prepper, and survivalist.... This program is made more for city liberals and drug addicts and ran by a liberal forced teaching... I was labeled a non-conformist..... I'm glad all that is behind me now.... Time to forget that mentally, physically and emotionally abusive place called Lake View Shock ever existedBy A.J. Andrews, September 19, 2017
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★MoonDogs 4A-25 I made a decision before my program started here. That decision was to follow the path that was being put before me. There was alot of things this program was for me. I know 1 thing for sure is that it was exactly the perspective I needed at the time. There were a few hiccups along the way, but as i reflect on my life....My time at Lakeview Shock is the beginning of the Goodness that my Life turned out to behold! - ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Great Lake view from our balcony. The room service was nice too, always had clean towels, they didn't even complain when I asked for an extra towel for the jacuzzi/pool. The food was great too, gotta love the shrimp scampi, and taco Tuesday is nice as well. If your wanting a light lunch maybe try the salad bar, the croutons must be homemade! Overall it's a nice place to bring the kids too on the weekend for a trip. The room rates aren't over priced either.By Jordan Imm, October 08, 2016
